I previously made a font comment so I won't. Lightly distorted sound as 2 vocalists joust over nice band for who can get to the mic first. Not bad. Apex Manor with The Party Line. Nice bass line behind young vocal singing meaningful lyric. Unnecessary quiet interlude song still very nice. Let's Wrestle play In Dreams Part II. Punky feel, in your face vocal and strong band keeping up. Forced lyrics very cool song. The Mountain Goats manage best band name and song title on this sampler singing Damn These Vampires. Singer songwriter vibe over full band backing the singer who is John Darnielle. Cool lyrics nice Indie sound. Track 5 I Don't Care About Your Blue Wings by East River Pipe (Fred Cornog). Keepers were Wye Oak, Telekenisis, Ladybug Transistor, and of course the fabulous Mountain Goats, if I didn't already own it. Overall a solid low key mellow intro to some alt indie bands.
